Presents the 17th Blooming Good Show for Volkswagens and Porsches

In 1716 the Mission Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe de los Nacogdoches was opened to serve the local Caddo tribe; and that was the beginning of what is the oldest town in Texas. So come to Nacogdoches and have a great visit to this historic old town.

Registration to enter your car on the date of the show $30. If you pre-register online at the link above the fee will be $25.00. No charge for spectators. Judges awards for top 20 cars + many best of awards & longest distance driven to the show in a classic VW. Games and entertainment for the kids and adults alike. Let your little VW enthusiast come and paint the bug in our traditional paint-a-bug event. Lots of VWs, big swap meet, T-shirts and vendors; so bring your VW and have some fun.

The show is an opportunity to attend a great VW show in a park and see some of the most beautiful azalea and dogwood blooms in the country. Come Friday the day before or plan to stay awhile after the show and tour some great azalea trails or visit some of the unique historical sites.

Note: When you arrive at the show site enter from downtown proceeding south on South Fredonia St. Other gates will be locked and you cannot get in.

BUS CAMPING this year will be at Ratcliff Lake Recreation in Davy Crockett Forest instead (Mission Tejas is closed for reconstruction). John Stoker is your contact this year, and there are spots reserved already. If you need more info, please contact John Stoker or make your own reservations at link below. John is planning a Saturday Night Potluck at the campground so stay tuned for more details!

Motels in Nacogdoches: There is no specific host hotel for this event. However, Nacogdoches has most of the normal chain motels, all within a reasonable distance to the show.
